Anne Frank Ambassadors
We have embraced the Anne Frank Ambassadors Programme in partnership with the Anne Frank Trust UK, which aims to learn about respect, tolerance, diversity and cohesion. Students in Year 9 undertook training to be able to present the Anne Frank exhibition to Gumley students and pupils from St Mary’s Primary and The Rosary Catholic Primary School. It challenged students and pupils to think about the consequences of the Holocaust and what can be done to prevent prejudice and discrimination. At the end of the programme six students were selected to go on to become Anne Frank Ambassadors, a brilliant opportunity to develop their leadership skills and raise awareness of social issues as they endeavour for positive change.
