Learner Voice at Gumley House : Such an inspiring team!
187 students took part in the Learner Voice forum to have their voices heard.
Wednesday 23 May during Prep for Learning 187 students took part in the Learner Voice forum with our team of Year 12 Learning Champions and the Heads of Learning.
Students discussed the highlights of their learning and ideas for Curriculum Extension Days 2018-2019.
We are very proud at Gumley that our students are involved in shaping the future programmes for the school. This is student leadership at its best.
Students highly commanded their use of the Google Applications for Learning in lessons and how much they enhance their independent skills and their progress.
The outcomes of the Learner Voice forum is shared with the Leadership Team for forward planning.
This year we had 2 Learner Voice forums and 2 Learner Voice online surveys which represented the voice of 75% of the whole school.
The Heads of Learning will be presenting the Learner Voice impact to the PGCSE students at St Mary’s University in Twickenham on Monday 4 June 2018. The purpose of this event is to inspire future teachers in working closely with their students to inform their teaching.
