Walk Eat Talk Eat
Back in June, Year 10 Food and Nutrition students had an invigorating journey discovering the introduction of a range of cultural food and the history of the East End of London.
The day was spent walking and eating whilst discovering delicious dishes. The day started on top of the world with a refreshing can of Lipton, which was then followed by a Khotu Roti, a selection of samosas from Bangladeshi culture, treats from Dark Sugars with cocoa sourced from Ghana, a classic salt beef bagel from the founders of this Jewish delicacy and the day was wrapped up with a artisanal sourdough doughnut.
It was a delightful day and the students thoroughly enjoyed this trip.
