Social Justice in Action

Every December, as part of Gumley House School's Advent Liturgy, all students from each year group, prepare gift parcels for individuals and families within the local community; who need a little extra support at this time of year.

Acton Homeless Concern and St. Mungo's in Hammersmith are the two charities working with the homeless that we are supporting in December 2019.

The parcels contain a range of non-perishable foods as well as toys and are given to families with young children as well as the elderly.

This is a tradition that Gumley has continued with for the past 57 years and as part of our social justice, is one that remains very important to all of our students.

Students are able to make their contributions as part of prayer services which are held over a 3 day period in the last week of the school term.
