Day 4 of the MEP China Trip

Martial Arts

Today an exciting event was learning how to do Martial Arts where we had an amazing instructor and watched other styles such as Tai’chi by professionals.

Chinese Tea Ceremony

After martial arts, we enjoyed a traditional tea ceremony where we learned the significance and rituals of the beautiful tradition.

Dragon Dance

We then participated in the famous, traditional dragon dance with the other 3 schools and got to watch them perform.

Birthday Party

A highlight of the day is when we all celebrated people’s birthday who was either today or upcoming including Ciara Cervantes, we had delicious slices of cake and sang happy birthday in Chinese to the birthday girls and boys.

Overall, we had a fun day full of informative and educational activities.
