Black History Celebration Launches

Our renowned annual tribute begins with students’ creative & eloquent interpretations of its people and events.

Students across all year groups and numerous subjects are once again creating another wonderful Black History Celebration.

Drama students’ inventive images depict themes of ‘striving for the impossible’ to activists; Malala, fighting for girls’ rights to education and Harriet Tubman’s Underground Railroad antislavery rescue missions.

Students’ poetry studies together with their creative writings are, as always, an integral part of this important event in our school.
