Advent Concert and Nativity Day

Last Wednesday evening, the Music Department hosted our Annual Advent Concert. We had an array of musicians and singers including soloists, duets, ensembles, band. It was a wonderful evening and a great way to start this advent season!

The next day, we invited children from our local primary schools to visit us and experience the Nativity live. They were greeted by Matthew and Luke then taken on a Journey to Bethlem. They encountered Herod, shepherds and angels en route and finally ended their journey at the stable with Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus as well as live animals including a donkey and sheep! Finally they enjoyed our Chamber Choir singing to them around the Christmas Tree.
