Sixth Form applicants should expect to achieve the entry requirements for each subject as outlined in our Course Guide (criteria outlined under each subject) in their subject of choice, but conditional places may be offered in particular subjects with higher requirements.

Gumley Scholars’ Programme 

The Gumley Scholars’ Programme is an exclusive programme tailored to meet the needs of our high achieving students, preparing them for progression to Oxbridge and Russell Group universities or esteemed job placements.

The scholars’ programme is awarded to only 20 students who successfully qualify, following a rigorous application process including writing personal statements, completing interviews and securing the required GCSE grades.

Transition

The step-up from GCSE to A Level study is often a challenging one. Alongside students progressing from our Year 11, we welcome new students to our Sixth Form; we ensure all their journeys are supported both academically and socially through our transition programme.
